Consensus of Parts, Not Entities (C.O.P.N.E.) was first written back in 2005, towards the end of an era in Toronto, and the Abell St warehouse studio. Life became a journey, and it took 18 years for inspiration to return, to complete this particular song. This song is an important nod to the truth of the past.

It's unlike any other ANIMISM practice to date, most notably in that it incorporates electric guitars, with a few hints at the more recent electronica foundations of the ANIMISM project. There is a collection of similar works over the past 30 years, to be recorded in time, that will appeal to fans of C.O.P.N.E.
